Silence is golden is a short film about a boy called Billy who lives with his Mum. They live next door to Dennis who is a mad old guy who bangs on the walls and really annoy’s Billy and his Mum he in the end Dennis is taken away. Silence is golden is a good story that involves a lot of animation and is well worth a watch

Kinesiology is about a man who has quit his job and has become a sign holder the film features a day in his life and he talks about himself and socioty the film is just under 3 minutes long and is worth a watch.

Today I realised that we didn’t actually have a bit of music sorted for our production unit so I had a look at www.jamendo.com. There was quite a lot of good music that we could use and I have started to make my own music in my core activity on a Wednesday on the computar. I succeded to make a good piece of music but it might be a bit to sinaster for our production.

1.The medium print is used so that the poster can be shown to the public with the use of bus shelters and magazines. The posters are also used to draw attention to the film and the actors that might make people go and see it.
2.The purpose of the poster is to tease the audience to come and see the film and so that the production company make money
3.I think the genre of the text is horror because of the blood stains on one of the girls tops and the darkness in the text.
4.The fonts in this poster are white which could mean that the martyrs are the girls and the font is white because the girls are innocent
5. The technical and cultural codes are used well in the lighting because it is dark and can suggest horror the poster also has a low camera angle which could connote the fact the girls are in trouble and need help.
A man wakes up next to his bed everything is all messed up gets up walks to the bathroom and he is light headed and his eyes are out of focus so he splashes some water on his face.Then cuts to him walking down the street then he goes round the corner and starts running but only focused on his feet.Then he runs into an alley.Cuts out then cuts back to him and keeps doing that with his heart beat getting faster then all actors + credits it then cuts back and the man turns the corner and gets shot in the head.

Today was the first day that my group filmed and our filming went very well and we got a lot of our shots filmed and completed we soon found out that most shots needed about 3 or 4 takes and took a lot of time we also found out that the lighting was an issue aswell but we managed.

We realised that the weather on islay is not always perfect and because we are filming outside the weather might be a constraint.We sorted this constraint by realising that the corridors in the school were quite similar to our outside setting so if the weather is bad we can film inside.
Me and Shannon went to have a reckie of our 1st setting but the agyll collage told us that we would need a formal letter of permission to use the room.So I wrote a formal letter and sent it to the college and I’m waiting on the reply.
