More pre-production
In class the other day we were putting the finishing touches on most things in the pre-production part of this unit.
So, Chloe was writing the script, and is almost finished with that. We are still not entirely sure whither there will be any dialogue in it, but as a group we came to the decision that there would be a conversation between two characters. We’re just not sure if we want the audiance to hear it.
Tristan was re-writing up the story board as the first one was a wee bit short, and i think it’s better to have to many scenes to cut down, rather than have too little. Anyways, thats going good as each scene we can tell easily whats happening, all thats needed to be added is the music we want to use, which we will have to create ourselves. So there is no copywrite issues,and i think tristan also needs to add the camera angles in a few of the scenes.
Me and connor were also finishing off trying to find all the letters, from newspaper cut outs to make our opening credits, and our names. I also wrote a list of all the props we need for the production.There was quite a lot. We have come across a few more constraints too, like being able to have a smoking cigarette in an office? As this is illegal we will have to get thinking of ways around this. Also the whole copywrite issue when it comes to the background music, but i think we will end up making it ourselves.
Ooh, and we also thought of another scene for the ending of our film opening. Right, so we thought for the end scene we would have the ‘Villian’ go back to the office and be sitting on their desk chair, and then the phone would ring, and we would take a side view shot of them and they would slowly pick the phone up, and say ‘Hello’ and then cut the camera out. This would then leave the audience questioning who they were on the phone to, leaving them with an enigma!

You go into a lot of detail about everything your talking about which is great. Your continual updating about your production is really good. I think I need to focus a bit more on that rather than ranting about stuff, I’m sure you will keep up this work amount so I won’t say anything else!
